I can tell Mary is going through a lot right now. Just kidding. I love your enthusiasm. I think the wring can be hard to do sometimes, I think you did it well. I think if you were to relaxed your shoulders. it could be a bit more effective when directing an ensemble.
Hey man, I think that you did a great job mixing up your efforts. Maybe think about the action point, and how you want that to start and end in the same place. I think that your plane could could be a little more forward, and not as much diagonal. I Think that would help with the timing of the words.
I think your gestures were very detailed in communicating your aural image and they matched up with your musical ideas. And of course it goes without saying that you have the whole confidence thing under control. My only critique would be that your body seemed a little fixed at times. Nice job!
John, I agree with everyone else! You have amazing control, and your breathing helps to prepare you for engaging your kinesphere. Your movements are precise, and detailed enough to get the orchestra in the same mindset as yourself. Great job on communicating your aural imagery!
Hey John, You use space well and all the efforts are used well but it does seem like an odd combination of efforts. You seem occasionally stiff but overall have good flow and make excellent use of space.
John, On your floating gesture on the word "lamb" it was difficult to decipher where the note should. I would try making that cutoff more obvious. Your slashes and punches were good gestures, but I think if you slow down those motions would give you better results. I love your enthusiam!
